This person is a bit dramatic, but they have a heck of a point. If you are not paying attention you might doubt the content, but Eli has more things right, than wrong.

Interesting. However, I do and always will disagree on the "Fairness Doctrine" and oppose it. The freedom of the press to make editorial decisions, without regard to some outside party's opinion of what is "fair" or not, is very important and should not be tampered with.
I also think that the author got close to making a straw man with his portrayal of the media as being something monolithic, when in fact, the media includes The Nation, Daily KOS and a variety of other sources along with Fox News and CNN.
Both very good points. I just wish the media would give me a little Walter Cronkite more often.
